The Re-funkification of the Bimini Big Game Club
The funky old Bimini Big Game Club in the Bahamas had fallen on hard times. It was once a legendary resort for sport fishermen and hard partying yachtsmen, but time and hurricanes had taken their toll. The architecture was uninspired and the landscape was almost non existent. Worst of all, the bar was empty! It was clear that the Club was in need of re-funkification!

So the lawn was replaced with low maintenance wildflowers!

The grounds were a dreary desert where grass wouldn't grow, and tourists wouldn't go.

The entry plaza had been a rectangular expanse of brutally hot concrete, so we broke up the space by adding arbors, umbrellas, rambling stone walls and lush vegetation.
